Kitchen pickup times must be pre-arranged.
If you select to have your order shipped, please read the following paragraphs:
Clairesquares are baked in small batches by hand; therefore, we generally do not have inventory in stock for immediate shipment. Orders received by 5pm (Pacific Standard Time) on Wednesday are shipped on the following Monday. Orders received by 5pm (PST) on Monday are shipped the following Wednesday. If you require your order to be delivered on a certain date, please note the date in the special instructions/comments box.
During the Warm Season (May 1st through September 30th):
All orders outside of the San Francisco Bay Area are shipped via either Express Mail or Priority Mail with an ice pack. To avoid spoilt product due to heat damage, we suggest you have your squares delivered to a location where someone will be available to recieve the package. Furthermore, we are not able to ship to PO Boxes during the warm season.
Clairesquares is NOT responsible for packages stolen or damaged after they are delivered to the address specified by the customer. We suggest shipping to a business location when possible. Express Mail Packages may be left without a signature if no one will be there to sign for it. Please note in the special instructions/comments box if you wish to recieve your Express Mail order without signing for it. Otherwise, your package will not be delivered unless it is signed for. If no one is present, the post office will generally keep your package for up to three weeks before they return the package to us. Clairesquares will not refund purchases if the product is damaged or melted after the first delivery attempt or if it is returned to us by the Post Office.
- We only ship within the continental United States.
- We are not responsible for lost shipments.
- Shipping costs will not be refunded.
- Express Mail requires a signature upon delivery.
